Meet Astira the Vampiress, one of the most lifelike mannequins you'll ever see! Originally manufactured by Rootstein as a standard production-line 'Adela P10' mannequin, she has now been completely Reimagined to look more realistic and beautiful than ever before. She is now a unique and beautiful, one-of-a-kind work of art, ideal for any collector of vampire art, or for anyone who just likes the idea of having a beautiful vampire around. Astira, descended from a long line of Transylvanian nomadic vampires. Enchantingly beautiful, sultry and seductive, Astira is closely related to Count Dracula's bride Verona.
Every Reimagined Mannequin begins in my modest UK workspace, where it's carefully repaired (if required), prepared, and hand-painted meticulously by me. I take inspiration from the sculpt itself to decide which skin colour, glass eyes and makeup colours to use.
I choose mannequins in which I can see the beauty and potential, as well as for their quality and pose.
